WE ARE YOUTH TRAVEL

YOUNG PEOPLE HAVE BEEN TRAVELLING WITH US FOR TWO DECADES, AND WE DON’T TAKE OUR FINGER OFF THE PULSE.

The Stoke App is our latest reinvention, and is in response to what we know youth travel needs.

WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOUTH TRAVEL

NOTHING, THE KIDS ARE OK

There’s no problem with youth travel. The sector is thriving, but a stale, entitled industry has failed to evolve with young travellers’ needs. For all its downsides, 2020 offered a chance to reset, recalibrate and return with something genuinely exciting for this audience.

COVID–COUGHCOUGH–19

The pandemic disrupted global travel, leaving young travellers feeling they’d missed out. Now they’re making up for lost time, seeking alternatives to traditional group tours and in-person check-ins. This creates an opportunity to offer them a different travel experience.

BRICKS AND BORE-TAR

COVID accelerated the decline of traditional travel brands. While apps and booking platforms let young travellers plan trips independently, a gap remains for a digital platform combining easy booking with curated, adventurous experiences.

OUT OF GREAT ADVERSITY

Comes opportunity. Or soul crushing defeat. Fortunately for young travellers we’ve decided on the former, and have set our combined experience, expertise and intelligence towards coming up with the tech solution that 18-30 year old travellers have been craving. The Stoke App will form an indelible part of young travellers’ experience, acting as a travel buddy, source of inspiration, as well as an easy way to book, be rewarded for experiencing more, and somewhere to find real-world and useful hints and tips from their community of current and former travellers.
